This past summer (2023), I interned as a UX Designer on the Alexa design team at Amazon. I joined the team at an exciting time when we were reimagining Alexa’s role and offerings with Amazon’s latest advancement in their Large Language Model.

Over the course of the 12-week internship, I worked on 2 impactful projects in different Alexa domains. For my primary project, I proposed a new Generative AI-powered experience on Alexa based on user research insights and conducted moderated, multi-modal usability studies with real customers. And for my secondary project, I contributed to the launch of an internal platform that would greatly improve the quality of Alexa experiences for customers and optimize the complex workflow of internal employees.
